The Panorama was awarded a Golden Ear Award by Jonathan Valin, Senior Editor of The Absolute Sound, which created an uproar from certain loudspeaker manufacturers, since it was the first time a prototype speaker had been awarded a coveted Golden Ear. The final production version subsequently debuted at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in October of 2008 and was awarded "Best Sound at Show" for the second year in a row.
